Line on Cowboys-Commanders Game Moves From Washington -2.5 to Dallas -1 With Deebo Samuel Out

Just how much is Washington wide receiver Deebo Samuel worth on the betting line?

It could be as much as four points.

That was the line shift shortly after 11 am ET when it was revealed that Samuel would likely not be playing Sunday, information confirmed hours later.

The line at BetOnline shifted from Commanders -2.5 to +1 on the news.

Samuel has been dealing with the injury for several weeks but will now miss the game and will not travel with the team. This adds to the Commanders' injury woes, as other key wide receivers Terry McLaurin and Noah Brown are also out.

The Commanders did get some good news Saturday, activating starting right guard Sam Cosmi off the Physically Unable to Perform List. He has yet to play this season after tearing a knee ligament during the playoffs.

They also brought cornerback Jonathan Jones off injured reserve. He has been out since injuring his hamstring in a Week 2 loss to the Green Bay Packers.

In other moves, Washington released defensive end Jalyn Holmes and brought up receiver Robbie Chosen and defensive tackle Sheldon Day from the practice squad.
