What is the real point of ranking teams before seeing them play?

In our opinion, it’s a much bigger advantage to be ranked pre-season in College Football than College Basketball.

Nonetheless, BetOnline.ag has put together a table comparing the AP rankings to the NCAA Tournament Championship odds for both men and women.

Men’s Notes:

- No. 19 Kansas has the biggest jump as they are tied for 11th in the odds rankings.

- No. 6 Duke is third in tourney odds.

- Three unranked teams have Top 25 Tourney odds rankings: Auburn, Indiana and Iowa.

Men’s NCAA Tournament odds are updated every day of the season
