Max Verstappen

As of the 2025 Hungarian Grand Prix, Verstappen has achieved 65 race wins, 44 pole positions, 34 fastest laps and 117 podiums in Formula One. His many Formula One records include everything from the most wins in a season (19) to the most podium finishes in a season (21) to the most consecutive wins (10), and the most consecutive pole positions (8, shared with Ayrton Senna).

Verstappen was listed in the 2024 issue of Time as one of the 100 most influential people globally, and was appointed an Officer of the Order of Orange-Nassau in 2022.

Verstappen expressed his cautious optimism and focus on narrowing the gap to the racing team of McLaren.

“I do not know if pole is possible, but we will do our best to set the car up as well as we can. After this race, we got a few more ideas of what we want to do, and we will try to stay as close to the McLarens as possible.”
