Reports began surfacing Tuesday that Tiger Woods and his wife Elin Nordegren were close to filing for a divorce.  OK! Magazine was making the claim.

Nordegren was rumored to have been with divorce attorneys while Woods was at the Masters, where he finished in 4th place.

Her divorce attorneys said Elin should avoid the Masters Tournament [she was leaning toward that decision] while they draft a divorce deal and decide when to serve him." According to a source cited by the magazine.

Another source said: "Tiger feels as though Elin is putting him through torture right now.  He's done everything she asked of him; going to rehab, making public apologies...everything."

BetUS.com had been offering odds on a Woods/Nordegren divorce at 4/1 odds but the bet was official only up to December 31, 2009.  The popular online website stopped offering odds on a Tiger Woods divorce after it appeared the couple may try to work things out.
