In the continuing battle between online gambling and the commonwealth of Kentucky, Gambling911.com has learned that the state's attorneys are making one last ditch effort to recoup money under the so-called Widowed and Orphaned statute, which allows family members of deceased indebt gambling degenerates to be paid monies owed.

The defendant listed is Full Tilt Poker's parent company.  This is the latest blow to the world's second largest online poker room following news yesterday that Full Tilt is the focus of a Manhattan Grand Jury investigation

This latest attempt would require plaintiffs to serve named defendants as opposed to simply seizing some 141 online gambling domain names, which was the premise of the last legal action filed by Kentucky.

"They have zero leverage," said one source close to Gambling911.com.

Full Tilt may be named because of its close ties to professional poker players residing in the US who are on record as saying they retain a percentage ownership in the online poker room's software company.

Pocket Kings is the parent company of Full Tilt and only named defendant in this matter.
