One of the most celebrated traditions in American sports is the visit of championship-winning teams to the White House.

While the tradition has occasionally sparked political boycotts, the Ohio State Buckeyes recently visited Pennsylvania Avenue and had some fun.

But would the current Trump Administration invite a Canada-based team to the White House? Would the team even accept the invitation?

The chances (below)...are not good.

The 2025 NHL Playoffs begin Saturday, and five of the 16 teams vying for the Stanley Cup call Canada home.

Now, a Canadian team hasn't won the Cup since Montreal in 1993, and the five Canadian clubs this postseason are outside of the Top 5 championship odds favorites…but, you never know.

BetOnline.ag created some political-leaning prop bets for Round 1 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs, which you can find below.

The odds of President Donald Trump attending a playoff game in Canada are astronomical! And the chances of a Canadian championship team (should it happen) visiting the White House are extremely slim.

Will a Canada-based Stanley Cup champion visit the White House in 2025 or 2026?

Yes       50/1

Will Donald Trump attend an NHL Playoffs game in Canada?

Yes       100/1

Will Donald Trump attend an NHL Playoffs game in the U.S.?

Yes       25/1

Will Mark Carney attend any NHL Playoffs game (Canada or U.S.)?

Yes       2/3
