Diamondbacks vs. Nationals

Despite greater than 85% of the moneyline action on Arizona, the line has remained under -180, moving from Arizona -166 to -175.  Typically with this type of lopsided action, we'd see a movement above the -180.

Sharp book Circa had the line at Diamondbacks -174 and steady with BetOnline moving between -175 and -171.  Recreational book Bovada had the line at -180.

Washington Nationals career statistics vs. Corbin Burnes average .216 but this one suggests a "trap" for those looking to get down on Arizona.

The total sat at 7.5 despite nearly all the action on the Over.   If we saw this one drop to 7 we'd probably be all over the Under but that hasn't happened yet.  The Under is still tempting without the number moving to 8.

Yankees vs. Pirates

This is the most wagered on MLB game of the day at most books.

The Yankees line has only moved from -140 to -157 despite heavy lopsided action.

New York Yankees career statistics vs. Andrew Heaney are just .200.

"Just rewinding to last year, only 34% of Heaney's outs came via the groundout and 22.9% via strikeout. That's a lot of fly balls — and unless a pitcher has pinpoint command with a weaker arsenal, then it could be bombs away." - The Action Network

"If the Pirates want to upset the Yankees their bats are going to have to show up, and it's hard to have faith in that happening. Through nine games, the Pirates are yet to score more than four runs in a single game. As for the Yankees, they have only been held below four runs once this season, and Aaron Judge alone has hit as many home runs as the entire Pittsburgh team. I have to lay it with New York on Sunday." - Winners and Whiners

The -172 to -158 line move at Circa suggests a potential trap.

This one was as high as -190 at Bovada and has since dropped to -170.

White Sox vs. Tigers

The total dropped from 8 to 7.5 despite greater than 80% on the Over.

Circa has held at 7.5 as has Bovada but we did have an early 8.

Detroit Tigers career statistics vs. Martin Perez are .214 in 84 at bats.

Perez shined in his first start of the season against the Minnesota Twins, tossing six no-hit innings and tying his career high with nine strikeouts.

This has certainly been more of an Over season in the last ten meetings with seven going over the 7.5.

Chicago has permitted 6 or more runs over their last four games.  They've had five where they've scored fewer than four runs.  Their last five have seen zero Unders (one push).

Eight of Detroit's last ten have gone Over so it's enticing to jump on the Over here.
