RJ Luis Jr. had 22 points and eight rebounds for the second-seeded Red Storm, who recovered from a cold-shooting start to pull away early in the second half.  Luis is shooting 44.8% and averaging 18.5 points for the Red Storm.

After leading the best St. John’s team this century in scoring and posting a team-best 29 points to lead the Johnnies to their first Big East tournament title in a quarter-century, the Associated Press named RJ Luis Jr. as a Second-Team All-American on Tuesday.
