We hope you like this new feature on Gambling911.com where we scour the internet in search for the best podcast episodes.

Today we hit "Prime Suspects", the latest installment from our friend Joe Brennan, Jr. of Prime Sports.

In this episode, Joe speaks candidly about DraftKings new subscription model for obtaining better parlay odds.

In case you missed it, DraftKings has begun offering $20 subscriptions to "select" customers (we suspect those that bet parlays and lose often) and only those in New York State for now.

New York's operating tax is somewhere in the neighborhood of around 50 percent, so this could just be a way to offset costs in The Empire State.

This all reminds us a whole lot of those airline "temporary" checked bag fees.

Joe suggests this probably won't be a trend.

"If you're FanDuel, okay, well how do you respond?" Brennan Jr. asks.  "You know, if I were the CMO of FanDuel, I'd be like "hey, look, you don't have to pay extra money to get the best odds.  Everybody gets them here at FanDuel."

In this one, the guys also discuss:

  • A "bloodbath" betting weekend at Prime Sports to start 2025
  • Novig’s marketing shift: from sharp betting to attracting casual players
  • DraftKings' new subscription service offering boosted odds for parlay bettors

How Gambling Affiliates Can Learn From Motley Fool (January 7 Podcast)

John Wright of Affiliate Bi writes:

"I had Noelle Spagna from The Motley Fool on the Affiliate BI podcast to talk about finance affiliates.

"What I came away with are some best practices that a company as big as The Motley Fool, does for optimization of their business in every aspect.

"I think every affiliate and affiliate program can learn from this company as they are both an affiliate as well as having their own affiliate program.

"I did ask since SEO content affiliate sites seem to be fading, where are they gaining more affiliates and users from?"
