Kliff Kingsbury is the favorite to be named the next Chicago Bears head coach at 2-1 odds.  Kingsbury is the current offensive coordinator for the Washington Commanders

Kingsbury says he would like to explore a head coaching job at some point.

"We'll see how everything plays out, but I'm very happy here," he said last Thursday.

"This has been an awesome place," Kingsbury said of Washington, "and has really helped me rekindle my love for the sport."

The Bears previously interviewed Kingsbury last year for their vacant offensive coordinator position.

There are currently five NFL head coach openings and it seems like it could be a while before any of them get filled.

There are lots of interviews scheduled for each team and most of the names crossover to each list.

On Monday, BetOnline sent odds for the Patriots and the Jaguars, with both coaching job betting markets attracting plenty of traffic to the Gambling911.com website. Mike Vrabel is still the favorite for the Patriots job, but Liam Coen has overtaken Ben Johnson as the favorite for the Jaguars opening.

In addition to the Bears, the oddsmakers at BetOnline also re-opened the Jets and Saints coaching lines as well.

The Jets odds have been really strange. Mike Vrabel was a large favorite for the job. Now he’s the co-favorite, shockingly, with Jeff Ulbrich. The interim Jets coach was way, way down the list in the odds but there has been a massive amount of wagers on Ulbrich in the past week. Rex Ryan is a close third.

Joe Brady remains a sizable favorite in New Orleans.

(NOTE: These odds are extremely volatile and many have changed since this email was written)
