A great game on tap for Sunday night. Colts vs. Vikings was originally to be played at 1 pm Sunday afternoon but the NFL decided to make a change two weeks ago.

Line Analysis and Action

  • Opening Line - The line opened Vikings -6.5
  • Line Trend - The line has moved from -7 to -5.5.
  • Sagarin Number -  Sagarin has a number of 2.81, so we have a significant overlay here.
  • Action - 75% both cash and tickets.

Tony Caliente's Take

"So much action on the Vikings and this one keeps coming down.  Come on Man!!!  The one concern is the Colts looking to go 8-1 Against The Spread if they cover this game.  They are a .500 team after all.  Granted they are 4-2 in their last six."

Historic Comparables

The comparables tend to be favorable for the favorite.

49ers -7 to -6 Rams (49ers 4.68 Overlay) - Rams cover.

Dolphins +6.5 to +4 Seahawks (Seahawks 1.06 Overlay - Tua out for Miami) - Seahawks cover.

This one though might be more in line with the Colts-Vikings trend: Detroit +7 to +5.5 Minnesota (road dog Detroit covers with Minnesota only winning by 4 points).  There was a slight overlay here.
