The Washington Commanders were seeing as much as 90% of the tickets on the AcePerHead line feed and 86% to 91% of the money across the board in their Week 9 game at the New York Giants.

It shouldn't come as any real surprise the the line has moved from Commanders -3 to -4.

Sagarin was giving us a number of 6.49, indicating an underlay.

New York has either beaten Washington or covered by a field goal (the last meeting) in their last four head-to-head matchups.

Commanders starting quarterback Jayden Daniels was the talk of the NFL last week when his Hail Mary touchdown to Noah Brown gave Washington a 18-15 win over the Bears.

Daniels scrambled around for nearly 13 seconds and heaved the ball from the Washington 35-yard line with no time on the clock. The pass tipped off the hands of Zach Ertz short of the goal line and into the waiting arms of Noah Brown, who was standing alone in the end zone, for a 52-yard Hail Mary touchdown that gave the Commanders an improbable 18-15 victory on Sunday and sent players, coaches and fans into a frenzy.

The rookie quarterback never even saw Brown make the catch.

“I just heard people screaming and our sideline rushing the field. That’s how I knew,” said Daniels, whose status was uncertain until hours before kickoff because of a rib injury. “That’s kind of like a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Not too many people get to experience stuff like that.”

Daniels has sore ribs that limited him in practice, but he is expected to play.

Meanwhile, the Giants continue to rank among the worst teams in the league.

CB Deonte Banks. The 2023 first-round draft pick was benched for the second half of the nationally televised game against the Steelers. It has been a bad year for him. He was lifted after missing a tackle Monday. Banks started the season as the Giants' projected shut-down cornerback. Coach Brian Daboll said he will start Sunday.
