Could college football nation revolt if half (or more) of the 12-team College Football Playoff field is comprised of teams from the SEC?

Let's hope not because according to the oddsmakers, there's a good chance that exact CFP scenario will play out.

SportsBetting.ag has revised its CFP conference qualification odds, and the SEC's over/under is 5.5. The SEC's total in the preseason was 4.5.

The next closest conference is the Big Ten at 3.5, while the ACC, Big 12 and Group of Five are all listed with an over/under of 1.

Currently, six of the Top 12 teams in the AP rankings hail from the SEC.

The same is true for the CFP Championship odds (Georgia +350, Texas +500, Alabama +900, Tennessee +1000, Ole Miss +1400, Missouri +4000), as well as the "teams to qualify for CFP" futures market below.
