Since last week's debate, there's been consistent backing of Kamala Harris at one long established gambling site.
BetOnline.ag moved Harris' presidential odds to -125 late Saturday night, and then adjusted the odds again Sunday morning. Here are the current numbers:
2024 Election Odds
Donald Trump +110
Kamala Harris -130
"We still have a long way to go, and action will heat up even more as we get into October/November, but we're really begging for some Trump money at this point in the race," BetOnline.ag Political Oddsmaker Paul Krishnamurty said.
The above odds imply a 56.5 percent probability that Harris will be elected in November.
Iowa in Play
The nationally recognized Iowa Poll's first test of Harris' strength against Trump indicates she's a more formidable opponent than President Biden in what many see as solid-red Iowa, keeping in mind of course that Barack Obama won here.
Trump leads Democrat Kamala Harris in the latest Des Moines Register/Mediacom Iowa Poll 47% to 43%, a massive change from the 18 percentage points Trump led by in a June Iowa Poll.
Eighty percent of Democrats who are likely voters say they are extremely or very enthusiastic about their choice for president — compared with 74% of Republican likely voters.
Loomer Looms Large
"The far-right provocateur and the former president are spending quite a bit of...together time. Where's Melania?," Naomi Feinstein of the Miami New Times asks.
BetOnline had yet to open a betting market on the intriguing relationship just yet (though they do have Melania Trump divorce odds up).
Odds on whether Loomer makes another appearance with the former president are anticipated as even Trump's runningmate, JD Vance, appears to be lashing out at her.
"'I don't like those comments"': Vance responded to Laura Loomer's attack on Harris' Indian heritage.
Boomer had written on her social media that, if Harris became President, the White House "will smell like curry" and her speeches would be facilitated by a call center.
