Mets @ Rockies

Here we have the top cappers agreeing that New York is the team most likely to win in Colorado where we still get them at -150 at some books.

The Mets have been one of the most pleasant surprises since early June.  For a while there the Mets owned the second best record in Major League Baseball since June 1.

New York has scored the 8th most runs and has the 8th-best slugging percentage.

New York has cooled off slightly but are still winning half of their recent ten games while the Rockies continue to implode.  Colorado has dropped 15 of their last 20 games to a National League team.

The Rockies are 30th or last in ERA, WHIP and batting average allowed.

Colorado starter Austin Gomber has allowed 13 runs in the last 21.1 innings.  This includes six home runs.

It's a mixed bag when it comes to the G911 Sports Hub cappers when it comes to the total as some of the better performers are on the Under while others are on the Over 11.5.

Brandon Nimmo is 5 for 9 against Gomber but without an RBI while four Mets have homers against him in 54 at bats.

Mets starter David Peterson went six innings and allowed two runs in a no-decision against the Angels on Saturday and lost his prior start, so Colorado offers an opportunity for some redemption.  He's also able to pitch into the 6th inning.
