President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump have both agreed to participate in a debate hosted by CNN on June 27.
This early faceoff marks a historical event that will undoubtedly shape the narrative for the remaining months of the 2024 campaign.
BetOnline.ag quickly posted odds for which candidate will "win" the debate, and the bets are already pouring in.
The odds were initially set as a "pick 'em," with both Biden and Trump listed at -120 (5/6 odds). However, heavy action on Trump has shifted him to the favorite. Here are the current numbers:

Donald Trump 5/7 (-140)
The result will be determined by "any poll co-sanctioned by CNN." The betting platform set if there is no such poll then any poll from Yougov, Ipsos or an aggregate of the two will be used.
"Obviously, the majority of America believes Biden stands no chance against Trump in a debate," BetOnline.ag political oddsmaker Paul Krishnamurty said. "And we're seeing that play out with these odds as 100% of the money wagered so far is on Trump. We'll keep moving the odds based on action, but Trump could end up a heavy favorite by the time June rolls around."
There is also a prop bet for whether or not the debate will be postponed or canceled. The odds for "Yes" are 3/1 while "No" comes back as a 1/5 favorite.
