The testimony was salacious. According to witness Stormy Daniels, a former adult film star, she spanked a former US President with a magazine where he appeared on the cover. Daniels also claims she stepped out of a bathroom to find Donald Trump laying in the bed in only his boxers.
The case involves an affair between Donald Trump and porn star Stormy Daniels and alleged "hush money" payments by Trump to Daniels to buy her silence during Trump's 2016 campaign for US presidency. There are also allegations that the former president falsified business records to further bury the story in the run-up to the election. The trial is taking place in Manhattan and is not being televised as New York State does not permit cameras in the court room.
Daniels also recounted how she asked Trump if he was always "this rude" then followed up with, "Are you always this arrogant and pompous? You don’t even know how to have a conversation."
"I pretty much had enough of his arrogance and cutting me off and still not getting my dinner," Daniels expressed.
After initially declining a dinner invitation from Trump, Daniels received a text his bodyguard Keith Schiller took her cell phone number and then messaged her.
Not knowing the bodyguard's last name, the text came in as "Keith Trump".
She explained that she had another dinner, but her publicist encouraged her to dine with Trump instead.
"What could possibly go wrong," Daniels recalled her publicist telling her. Famous last words.
"So I arrived and I went upstairs. Keith (Schiller) had given me very specific instructions to take certain elevator to the penthouse floor. So I did so and I went up to that level. That's where I met Keith who was waiting for me outside the door," Daniels recounted in her testimony.
Trump greeted her clad in satin pajamas.

During dinner Trump told her "You remind me of my daughter, she’s … smart and beautiful and people underestimate her as well."
Later, Daniels claims, she would end up in the missionary position having sex with the former president. Trump has denied having sex with the one time adult entertainment star.
The full transcript of Tuesday's trial did not come in until shortly before 8:30 pm.
So far, the trial hasn't changed the odds. Trump and the current president, Joe Biden, both sit at -105 odds at BetOnline.
