Eight people with multiple firearms.  That was the report Des Plaines, Illinois dispatch received during the early morning hours Saturday at the Rivers Casino.

"Shootout occurring at the casino" the caller claimed at 2:43 am.

Des Plaines police, along with the Rosemont Police Department, were quick to respond with several units, "depleting the officers available to service the City," according to police.

The police were quick to determine the shooters did not exist.

They were then able to run the phone number associated with the caller and identified the account belonging to one Jaime Ramos, 23, of the 3900 block of W. Altgeld Street.

The story gets even more bizarre as police were called again at 3:33 am about a fight outside the casino.

This time the report was accurate and the individual involved in the fight was none other than Ramos.

Upon arriving back at the casino, police spoke with security, who confirmed the incident and directed the officers to Ramos. Police recognized Ramos and noticed a cellphone in his pocket. Dispatch was advised to call the number on the call log from the previous incident. Upon doing so, the phone in Ramos' pocket rang, and he was swiftly arrested.

Ramos was released after his arrest and is due back in court at a later date.
