How They Got Here

Chase Hunter scored 20 points and had six assists for No. 6 seed Clemson.  They would go on to beat Baylor 72-64 and advance to the Sweet 16.  Hunter's prop bet scoring total was set at 14.5 coming into the NCAA 2nd round game.

“This was a big win for us,” coach Brad Brownell said. “Baylor’s obviously a very talented, well-coached team. So for us to play the way we did, I thought our defense was outstanding throughout. And that was a big key in both of our wins here in Memphis.”

Joseph Girard III scored 13 points for the Tigers (23-11), and Ian Schieffelin and PJ Hall each had 11.

Arizona is the -6.5 favorite Thursday with Caleb Love's player prop score total set at 18.5.  He would go on to score 19 points against No. 9 seed Dayton.

Arizona reached the semi-finals just two years ago.

“We’re really excited to be back,” Wildcats guard Pelle Larsson said. “I feel like it’s been a (long) journey to come back here. But I think the journey has made us stronger and this team is ready for it.”

Larsson is listed with a scoring prop total of 11.5 against Clemson.

Larsson and Keshad Johnson, whose score prop total is 11.5 against the Tigers Thursday, each had 13 points and seven rebounds for Arizona.

Oumar Ballo comes into Thursday's Sweet 16 game with a rebound prop total of 10.5.

Ballo ended with eight points (4-5 FG) and three rebounds across 22 minutes during Saturday's 78-68 victory over Dayton.
