Michigan Wolverines offensive coordinator Sherrone Moore

According to the oddsmakers, along with many others, Sherrone Moore will be named as the successor to Jim Harbaugh and the next Michigan football head coach.  He's a huge 1-7 favorite.

Moore currently serves as the offensive coordinator and offensive line coach for Wolverines.

Odds on the Wolverines next head coach were released hours after news broke that Jim Harbaugh has been hired to take over as the LA Chargers head coach.

In addition to Moore, SportsBetting.ag released odds for 29 other candidates to take over as coach of the national champions.

Moore opened as a -300 favorite, but every single bet over the last two hours has been on him, which created a shift in the numbers.

Moore's current odds of -700 equate to an 87.5% implied probability that he will get the job.

There are some solid names on the list (humorous longshots, too), but it appears this one is Moore’s to lose. You never know though.
