A semi-scientific Twitter study conducted over the last month shows that the U.S. remains lopsided when it comes to supporting a GOP candidate for the 2024 Election. We also have all the latest odds below.
Entertainment and gaming website, BetOnline.ag, collected and analyzed every #Trump2024 hashtag and #DeSantis2024 hashtag from April 25 through May 24, the day of Ron DeSantis' bid announcement on Twitter.
Those results were run through a geo-tracking program that showed which states each supporting post came from. The candidate with the most hashtags then "won" that state.
In total, there were nearly 150,000 tweets included in the study.
The results showed the massive support chasm between DeSantis and Donald Trump.
The breakdown is as follows:
DeSantis - 7 states (Alaska, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Kansas, North Dakota, Utah)
Trump - 43 states (All other states)
BetOnline also reports that DeSantis took a hit in their projections following last Wednesday night's Twitter tech debacle.
In short, DeSantis' odds worsened while Biden's, Trump's and all the other GOP frontrunners' odds improved. Here are the notable odds changes:

Joe Biden's odds improved from +140 to +130
Donald Trump's odds improved from +250 to +235
Ron DeSantis' odds worsened from +400 to +500
Tim Scott's odds improved from +4000 to +3000
Nikki Haley's odds improved from +5000 to +4500
GOP NOMINATION
Donald Trump's odds improved from -200 to -250
Ron DeSantis' odds worsened from +200 to +250
Tim Scott's odds improved from +2200 to +1800
