Kamaru Usman vs. Khamzat Chimaev Betting Odds

Kamaru Usman and Khamzat Chimaev have been trading barbs on social media, and it's looking like a bout may get booked for UFC 294 in October.

"We re-opened odds for the potential fight, and while our oddsmakers initially posted a true tossup at -110 each way, the early action has heavily swung the numbers in favor of Chimaev," a BetOnline spokesman said.

“A fight with myself and Khamzat (Chimaev)? Boom,” Usman said. “I’m kind of in a place now where I’m having fun with it, and what’s the biggest, funnest, most intense fight that really makes me feel something? That’s a fight right now there. That could headline a pay-per-view.”

Chimaev (12-0 MMA, 6-0 UFC) hasn’t competed since a quick submission of Kevin Holland in a 180-pound catchweight bout this past September at UFC 279.

UFC President Dan White says that Chimaev has not fought as he is "dealing with stuff".

“I have no problems with fights,” Chimaev wrote. “If they gave me a fight, I would have fought a long time ago, I did so many training camps and not one fight, the problem is definitely not with me, prepared in Dubai then to Thailand, why do I train so much if there is no fight, I don’t understand.”
