A semi-scientific Twitter study conducted during the last 14 days shows that the vast majority of America believes Jake Paul will beat Tommy Fury in tomorrow’s boxing bout.

Our crack staff at BetOnline pulled every tweet, hashtag and direct keyword phrase involving the fight from Twitter over the last two weeks. For example, "Jake Paul will win," "Jake Paul win by knockout," "Jake Paul win by KO," "Bet on Jake Paul," "Betting on Jake Paul," or "Tommy Fury will win," Fury win by knockout, "Fury win by KO," #TeamJakePaul, #TeamTommyFury, were used in the survey.

Then, we ran those through a geo-tracking program that showed which states each post came from. For each state, they tallied the posts that supported Paul and the ones that supported Fury. The fighter who had the most support tweets subsequently “won” that state.

In total, there were more than 100,000 tweets analyzed in the study.

The results were close, but in the end, Paul came out on top with 28 states picking him to reign victorious in the ring, while Fury was picked by 22 states.

Additionally, while Paul remains the favorite, late money is coming in on the underdog, Fury.

Back in mid-January, Paul initially opened as a slight favorite against Fury, but was quickly bet up to -180 chalk. He jumped as high as -225 (Fury +185), but his odds have slowly been trending the other way since.

Over the last six days, Paul’s odds have gone from -200 to currently -150, while Fury’s have moved from +160 to +130.

Here are the current odds and betting percentages:

Jake Paul:        -150     (61.9% of handle on Paul)

Tommy Fury:  +130    (38.1% of handle on Fury)
