Can't Bet the Seton Hall vs. Georgetown Game From New Jersey

If you are using a sports betting app in the great state of New Jersey and wish to place a bet on the Seton Hall vs. Georgetown game Tuesday night (January 10, 2023), you're mostly out of luck.  Garden State regulators prohibit state-licensed online sportsbooks from offering wagers on in-state teams like Seton Hall or the games that feature them (as well as tournament games played in the state).

Options are limited from the few offshore sportsbooks that still take bets from those in NJ (few do) to local bookies, for which there is a whole cottage industry thanks to the desire of residents to place bets on Rutgers and Seton Hall games.

Sportsbooks outside New Jersey will be offering bets on this game.  The line on this game is Pirates -9 or -9.5 as of Tuesday morning depending on the book.

BetAdrian was offering a total of 18 betting markets on Seton Hall vs. Georgetown.   These included Alternative Markets & Props, Over/Under Including Overtime, 1st Period Odd/Even - Away Team, Under/Over Halftime, even Asian Handicap Halftime.

Other markets included European Handicap Halftime, Odd/Even Including Overtime, Race To 20 Points and Under/Over Player Points (appearing below)

Seton Hall comes into this game with a 9-8 Straight Up record and are somewhat profitable for sports bettors at 9-7 Against The Spread.

The spread is in the near double digits due to Georgetown's poor record of 5-12 both Straight Up and Against The Spread.

Pirates are 7-2 Against The Spread in their last 9 games following a straight up win of more than 20 points.

Pirates are 8-21 ATS in their last 29 games vs. a team with a losing straight up record.

Seton Hall is 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games vs. a team with a winning % below .400.

Hoyas are 1-5 Against The Spread in their last 6 home games.
