The line on this game has moved from Jacksonville -1.5 to New York -1.5 and climbed to -2.5 by Thursday evening.  We get a number of Jets 2.63.

Jacksonville (6-8 SU) is starting to get kind of hot with three wins in their last four games along with a 6-7 record Against The Spread.  They've only failed to cover the spread in one of their last six games.

The Jets, starting the season red hot, have dropped their last three games.

The Jaguars are chasing an unlikely bid to win the AFC South.  They face division rivals Houston and Tennessee to close the remainder of this season, making a playoff appearance possible.

Jaguars coach Doug Pederson doesn't want to hear anything about playoff scenarios.

"I'm not thinking past Thursday, quite honestly," Pederson told reporters. "We've got a good football team that we're going up against Thursday night. Anything's possible. I understand that. We've still got a big road ahead. But if we continue to improve on what we've done here in the last month of the season, then I think it's possible."

The Jets have fallen one game out in the AFC wild-card chase after consecutive losses to the Minnesota Vikings, Buffalo Bills and Detroit Lions.

Jacksonville is 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games on fieldturf.

Jets are 6-0 Against the Spread in their last 6 games following a ATS loss.

Jets are 4-11 ATS in their last 15 games after allowing more than 250 yards passing in their previous game.
