Next Badgers Head Coach Betting Odds

Gambling911.com didn't see this one coming, nor did the folks at BetOnline. 

Paul Cryst was relieved of his head coaching duties at Wisconsin On October 2 following an embarassing 34-10 loss to Illinois Saturday.

“This is certainly not a decision that’s taken lightly,” athletic director Chris McIntosh said at a news conference. “It’s not a game-by-game decision. This is a decision that’s based on where we’re at as a program.”

BetOnline has created odds on the Badgers next full-time head man, and a name familiar to Badgers and NFL fans tops the list.

The website made Jim Leonhard, who is the interim head coach, a 2-1 favorite to take over in Madison next season.

Former Penn State and Houston Texans coach Bill O'Brien is second on the board. O'Brien is currently the offensive coordinator at Alabama.
