Central Florida opens as a -5 point favorite against Louisville in Week 2 of the 2022 college Football season. The line opened at -6 and moved back up to -6 pretty quickly just hours after posting.
Central Florida (40) had a power rating of 76.08 coming into Week 1. Louisville (47) had a power rating of 75.03. We arrive at a very early line of Knights -3.
The Cardinals were expected to drop in the ratings following a loss in Week 1 to Syracuse.
Sean Tucker rushed for 98 yards and scored two touchdowns and quarterback Garrett Shrader threw for two scores and ran for another as Syracuse beat Louisville 31-7.
Louisville was favored to win UNDER 6.5 regular season games in 2022 and Syracuse was supposed to be one them as they were favored by -5.5 points here. They had beaten the Orange in the past three meetings in the series.
Louisville finished last season at .500 both Straight Up and Against The Spread.

John Rhys Plumlee, the game's leading rusher with 19 yards and 13 carriers, threw four touchdown passes, the UCF defense allowed less than 100 yards, and the Knights defeated FCS South Carolina State 56-10 in a season opener on Thursday night.
Plumlee completed 20 of 31 passes for 308 yards.
The UCF Knights were expected to win OVER 8.5 regular season games in 2022.
The Knights outgained the Bulldogs 600 yards to 91. Central Florida had 308 passing yards, 292 rushing yards and 29 first downs.
