Truth Social Shut Down Odds as Trump Media Company Features Uncertain Future

The shutdown of Truth Social, former U.S. President Donald Trump's social media company, is possible, and the odds indicate more of a likehihood by year's end as RightForge, the company that hosts it, claims to be owed $1.6 million in back payments.

Fox Business first reported that Truth Social is at risk of losing the cloud hosting support that it needs to operate.

Gambling911.com has the odds of Truth Social coming offline for an extended period of time (one month or longer) prior to December 31, 2022 now at -110 odds.

"RightForge is committed to servicing the client," CEO Martin Avila told Axios. "We were there from the ground floor and we support the president and all of his endeavors and we're committed to building a free speech American ideas based internet.”

Should RightForge opt to kick Truth Social off its infrastructure, there's a good chance the social media platform will find another home.  And that trend could continue for a prolonged period of time provided another servicer gets paid a portion up front.

Of greater concern is Digital World Acquisition Corp, a blank check company it plans to merge with, now appears to be having second thoughts. That company is also under investigation by the SEC for possibly negotiating their deal prior to going public.

Axios also reports there has been confusion regarding whether or not certain members of Truth Social's board are actually still on the board, including Trump himself.

BetOnline continues to offer a wealth of Trump-related betting odds, including if the former President gets indicted.
