Am I a Gambling Degenerate for Betting on NFL Preseason?
The question of the day: Am I considered a "degenerate" if I'm betting on NFL preseason games?
The answer: Hardly. In fact, it's pretty smart considering there is a definite edge for savvy sports bettors.
We hark back to the first preseason game of 2022: Raiders vs. Jaguars.
Sharps beat up on the books, as was illustrated when the line opened as a PICK'EM and was bet up to Raiders -3 in a matter of seconds.
Highlights from last night's release show. If you missed it, no worries, we'll be doing them every week. https://t.co/VVkQ7kDmWY

Dave Mason of BetOnline reported that this game brought in more action than any of the night's MLB slate.
Yup, football remains King.

Last night's Raiders - Jags game did more volume than any of last night's MLB games.
Also, volume was up 21% over last year's HOF Game.
Thanks for your action!
Pro sports bettor Captain Jack Andrews said via Twitter:
"Any time someone calls you a degenerate for betting NFL preseason... ...irrationally go off on them claiming that degenerate is a deeply offensive word."
Jason Dewey tweeted:
"Damn I thought it was a term of endearment."
Jack had previously tweeted out that "professional athletes are allowed to be degenerate gamblers without suspicion that they are throwing games."
He added: "Has anyone every questioned Jaromir Jagr, or Allen Iverson for match fixing? Both notorious casino gamblers."
