Prediction: Kari Lake Wins Arizona GOP Governor Primary at -800 Odds

Former news anchor Kari Lake is a huge -800 favorite to win her primary bid for Arizona Governor, making her a near "lock" against Karrin Robson (+425).

Lake is among the nation's most high profile election deniers and is fully endorsed by the former U.S. President Donald Trump.

Lake had previously said she would not have certified the 2020 presidential race in Arizona.  Biden carried the Grand Canyon State by more than 10,000 votes.   She called that election “corrupt” and “rotten”.

This has more mainstream Republicans worried.

"It’s a dangerous time for elections because you have a couple of people who are relying on people to vote for them but then will turn around and say the election system is rigged despite the lack of any evidence as such. There’s no talk of policy or anything. It’s all looking backward to 2020,” said Barrett Marson, a Republican consultant in the state. “This issue has staying power, much to my chagrin and a lot of other people.”

Lake had been an ardent supporter of former Democrat and two-term U.S. President Barack Obama just a decade ago.

Republicans are only slight -130 favorites to win the state in November, compared to -110 for the Democrats.

The Democrats are -150 favorites to take the Senate there.
