Sonny Dykes take over as head coach of this program. He won a WAC title at Louisiana Tech back in 2011 but had just one winning season in four at Cal.
The offense was good last year but the defense needs a little work.
1996-1997 was the last time TCU had back-to-back losing seasons. It's hard to imagine that happening with this season.
There are games we can throw in the loss column though including one of two versus Oklahoma State and Kansas State, at Texas, at Baylor, vs. Oklahoma and probably at West Virginia.
In the end there are too many unknowns when it comes to this schedule. Even under the best circumstances, heading into 2022, Iowa State would be a -9 road favorite at TCU. A lot can change between now and that final game of the regular season but we would take the UNDER 6.5 here.
