The wins total for the Mississippi State Bulldogs in 2022 was set at 6.5 with the OVER favored at -125.
The Bulldogs do enter the season with a solid, veteran foundation, including eight returning starters on each side of the football.

The away teams are brutal with a game in Arizona likely a win, all others will be tough to claim a victory. We are talking LSU, Kentucky, Alabama, and Ole Miss. The later has beaten Mississippi State in the last two meetings. Using last year's power ratings, the Rebels would be a -10.5 home favorite against the Bulldogs.
Mississippi State can beat Memphis at home in Week 1, as already stated, Arizona on the road should provide an easy victory, Bowling Green at home, maybe Auburn and East Tennessee State. Do the math. That's five wins. Even a victory against either Texas A&M or Arkansas at home still gets us to 6.
