There is some good news as far as the road goes. The Hawkeyes only get four road dates in Big 12 play, and Oklahoma won't be one of those teams. TCU and Oklahoma State are, unfortunately.
Realistically, there are three games Iowa State should win. The rest they'll really have to work hard at to do so.
Last year, expectations were high. But Iowa State ended with a 7-6 record. That made it five straight winning campaigns, and the Cyclones hadn't accomplished that feat since the span 1923 to 1928.
Because this will be a building year, and with the defense losing a good number of its starters, Gambling911.com doesn't see Iowa State hitting 7 or more wins.
