What Are the Regular Season Wins Total Odds for the Bowling Green Falcons - 2022?

Bowling Green won just four regular season games last season, but were mostly profitable for sports bettors.  They covered the spread in eight of twelve games.

This wasn't the case in the last full season where the Falcons finished 3-9 both Straight Up and Against The Spread.

It's no surprise that the oddsmakers at BetOnline give Bowling Green a 4-game win shot this season.  They are slightly favored at -120 to win OVER that number.  Some books have since moved this one to 4.5 after opening the total at 2.5.

This is a program that went to three straight MAC Championship games from 2013 to 2015.

With all the talent coming into 2022, there really is no excuse for Bowling Green not to win five or more regular season games.  There have been improvements made in most positions.

They'll likely lose in Week 1 in a game played at UCLA.  This is a team favored to win OVER 8.5 regular season games.

Marshall in Week 3 could also be tough, even though this game will be played in Bowling Green.  The Thundering Herd is favored to win OVER 7.5 regular season games.

Other games that will likely be a concern for the Falcons include at Mississippi State (expected to win OVER 6.5 regular season games), at Central Michigan (Over 7.5), and at Toledo (favored to win OVER 8 regular season games in 2022).

All others are essentially up for grabs, and that leaves us with the potential for 7 victories.

This is one of the MAC most loaded veteran teams on both sides of the ball, but head coach Scot Loeffler has managed just seven wins and it's hard to see anything past the six-win mark in 2022.  Over 4, yes.  In fact, Loeffler's head will likely be on the chopping block if they don't exceed that number.
