Now comes word that the two are set for a rematch.  That's music to our ears and every single sportsbook operator on the planet.

Betting odds would have Mayweather favored, probably at a high number.  Mayweather's current record is 50-0.  He's had three exhibition fights since McGregor, most notably against YouTube influencer Logan Paul.

As the negotiations continue, the two fighters camps have agreed on setting the bout at 155 pounds.  That alone could become an obstacle.  McGregor has been hovering around the 190 mark.

The Sun reports that McGregor will only take the fight if it is an official competition that would go on record and wants it set at 10 rounds instead of 12.

Mayweather netted approximately $250 million USD for the first fight versus Mcgregor with the Irishman making $100 million. The offer made by Mayweather to McGregor is reportedly $157.9 million USD for the rematch.
