What it Takes to Move Lines in Sports Betting

Professional sports bettor Rob Pizzola sat down with Chris Bennett to discuss managing risk for Circa Sports, perhaps the sharpest linesmakers in the regulated U.S. sports betting market today.

The discussion involves what it takes to actually move lines.

Pizzola posed the following scenario:

"Let's say someone sets an MLB overnight line and you come in in the morning and are looking and you're like "ah, you know, this just doesn't feel right to me or you think this is going to move one way or another when groups start betting in half an hour or so.

"Would you proactively move something like that that you didn't feel was right.  Would you wait for action?"

Check out the podcast below to find out the response.

Pro sports bettor Spanky Kyrollos calls the Circles Off podcast "hands down the second best sports betting podcast in the world today".

Of course, Spanky's own is the best one out there, in case you were wondering who was first.
