Paolo Banchero is the talk of the basketball world this week and bettors have taken notice.
Ahead of Thursday’s NBA Draft, Banchero has seen an influx of wagers to be the No. 1 overall selection.
Jabari Smith Jr. is still the odds-on favorite to be picked first, but Banchero’s odds have shot from 9-1 to 2-1 in less than a week’s time.
"I feel like I am the best player in the draft and I feel like I showed that throughout the year," Banchero said. "I feel like I showed everything with my skill sets and my intangibles."
