Red Sox Current Futures Odds and Profitability

The Red Sox pay out $4000 for every $100 bet with a World Series win.

They were a disappointing 10-17 heading into the weekend ahead of this series.

The Red Sox have been costing gamblers around $500 over the past ten games.

Braves Current Futures Odds

The Braves pay $1400 for every $100 bet to win the World Series.

They had gone 12-16 heading into the weekend.

Because their price has been reduced for the most part, Atlanta has been a modest loss for gamblers over the last ten games (4-6).  They haven't been listed above -140 in their last eight games.

Red Sox vs. Braves Recent Head to Head History

  • Boston is 10-6 in the series dating back to 2018
  • Boston is 5-1 in the last six meetings
  • There have only been two UNDERS in the last 13 games of this series dating back to 2018.

Pitching Analysis

The Braves Kyle Wright (3-1) took the loss in the second game of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Mets, giving up three runs on nine hits and a walk over seven innings. He struck out three.

Wright is set to start on Tuesday.  He's permitted just two hits in 19 at bats versus Red Sox hitters.

Advise for Gamblers

Focus on the OVER in this series being that it's 10-2-1 in the last thirteen meetings.

The problem though has been Boston scored no more than 3 runs in half their ten games ahead of Saturday's matchup versus the White Sox.

Good Bets?

Probably best to avoid this series but certainly avoid the UNDER as tempting as it might be based on recent trends.

Baseball News

Chris Paddack Player Prop Bets

Paddack recorded 10 strikeouts over seven shutout innings on Monday in a win over the White Sox. Prior to that start, Paddack was obliterated by the Orioles, allowing nine runs on 12 hits in 5 1/3 innings.

Zach Eflin Player Prop Bets

Zach Eflin has great value in fantasy leagues for the April 26 game against the lowly Chicago White Sox.  Betting on Eflin and the Tampa Bay Rays might make sense if not for the -210 price tag.

Trevor Williams Player Prop Bets

The Nats Trevor Williams held the Astros to one run with four strikeouts across six innings in a no-decision on Saturday.  And the betting public was eating him up at a near 80% clip.
