Darren Rovell Gets Roasted on Twitter for Celebrating Peacocks

It's fun to mock sports and business journalist Darren Rovell.  We don't do it but lots of folks do.  And if you can't beat 'em, join 'em.

Rovell mocked himself via Twitter Friday night following the shock upset by the Saint Peter's Peacocks over Purdue to become the first 15 seed advancing to the Elite Eight.

Rovell may have missed the tweet accusing him of lying about Saint Peter's inability to transport its cheerleaders to the game due to a minimal require statute of some kind.  As least the mascot showed up.

The Peacocks became the biggest underdog to advance this far.  They were listed at +13 against Purdue. And Dave Mason of BetOnline confirmed Saint Peter's handed his company its worse college basketball loss of all time.

Another great Saint Peter's story:  Father Thomas Blessin served as chaplain of Saint Peter's from 1985-2007.  He was the cousin of the dad of this website's (Gambling911) founder.  He passed away in 2012.
