Line on the Marquette vs. Baylor Game - NCAA Tournament 2022

Baylor will be a -9 favorite versus Marquette in Round 2 of the NCAA Tournament.

Ryan Hawkins scored 18 points and Ryan Kalkbrenner had 14 points and nine rebounds as Creighton beat Marquette 74-63 in the Big East Conference tournament quarterfinals.

Marquette as an underdog is 11-5 (68.8%) Against The Spread this season.

Since 2016, the Eagles are 8-15 Against The Spread (34.8%) on neutral courts.

Jonathan Tchamwa Tchatchoua's suffered a left knee injury last month and is out for the season.  This leads the Bears with little depth up front and it is a worrisome development heading into March Madness.

But Baylor annihilated Norfolk State in Round 1 of the tournament Thursday 84-49.

Matthew Mayer led the way for the Bears with 22 points in Thursday's first-round game at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas. The top seed in the East region scored the first five points and never trailed in the wire-to-wire win.

As a favorite, Baylor is 118-22 Straight Up for a win percentage of 84.3% since 2016.  As an away favorite they have only lost five games in the last six seasons.
