Line on the SDSU vs. Kansas Game - NCAA Tournament 2022

Kansas should be a -7 favorite versus San Diego State in the second round of the 2022 NCAA Tournament.

Ahead of the tournament, San Diego was defeated by the Broncos 53-52 and failed to capture the Mountain West Tournament.  Instead, Boise State earned the conference’s automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.

San Diego State (23-8) was led by Bradley, who finished with 17 points and seven rebounds. Lamont Butler finished with 16 points for the Aztecs.

“I had space to just go down the lane and make a layup,” said Bradley on his last shot attempt. “I should have made it. I was right at the rim. I missed two earlier layups the same way. I should have made it, I got the rebound and Trey had a great look, too.

"We had two great looks at the end of it, but I definitely should have finished mine.”

They faced Creighton in the 1st round of the tournament.

SDSU played exceptional at home this season, losing just one game.

As an away underdog they were 0-4 this season, which won't bode well for this game.

They are 3-19 (13.6%) Straight Up as an underdog since 2016.

Ochai Agbaji was the Big 12's player of the year and helped his Jayhawks win the Big 12 Tournament entering this year's tournament.

“I'm just blessed to be in this position, but I give it back to my teammates," said Agbaji, the fifth player in history to win the regular-season player of the year award and the tournament’s top honor. "I couldn't have done it without them.”

Agbaji scored 16 points, including a couple clinching foul shots with just over a minute left, to lift the Jayhawks (27-6) past the plucky Red Raiders (25-9) and likely secure a No. 1 seed in next week's NCAA Tournament.

Against ranked opponents, Kansas is just 2-8 on the season.  While SDSU was not ranked coming into the NCAA Tournament, this shows that the Jayhawks are vulnerable.

We would bet the Aztecs on the +7 spread and KU to win outright on the moneyline here using two different books.
