The San Diego State University Aztecs pay out $20,000 on a $100 bet should they win this year's NCAA Tournament Championship.

They will face Creighton as a -2.5 favorite.  Gambling911.com has the line at -1.5.

Boise State managed to beat SDSU by a single point to take the Mountain West Tournament and earn the conference’s automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament, 53-52.

San Diego State (23-8) was led by Matt Bradley, who finished with 17 points and seven rebounds. Lamont Butler finished with 16 points for the Aztecs.

“I had space to just go down the lane and make a layup,” said Matt Bradley on his last shot attempt. “I should have made it. I was right at the rim. I missed two earlier layups the same way. I should have made it, I got the rebound and Trey had a great look, too.

"We had two great looks at the end of it, but I definitely should have finished mine.”

Against The Spread: 17-14
Over Total: 12-19
Odds to win NCAA Championship: +20000

In the first round the Aztecs will be facing a Bluejays team that is just 3-13-2 Against The Spread in their last 18 NCAA Tournament games.

As a favorite this season, San Diego State has gone 22-4 Straight Up (84.6%) and 118-29 SU (80.3%) since 2016.

As an away underdog, SDSU has gotten slaughtered.  They are just 3-19 Straight Up since 2016 (13.6%).   Since they will likely be playing Kansas in the next round, assuming a win here, this could present a problem as they will likely be a +7 underdog.
