The professional poker community was swift to react to the disaster in Haiti following Tuesday's devastating earthquake.

Annie Duke's Twitter page urged readers to text "HAITI" to 90999 to donate $10 to @RedCross relief efforts in #Haiti.

She also offered some kind words to Pat Robertson, the religious magnate who claimed on Wednesday that "Haiti made a pact with the devil" and suggested the Dominican Republic (which shares the island of Hispaniola with Haiti) was not impoverished.

"I'm not a religion expert, but I suspect that God liked Avatar and thinks Pat Robertson is a douche."

Duke has been active in the effort to draw awareness to the crisis in Darfur the past couple of years.

Joe Sebok also followed Duke's lead, urging people to text the Red Cross. And he too had some "not so kind" words for Pat Robertson.

"Pat Robertson: Haiti earthquake happened because they made ‘pact w/ the devil' to get French out. Dear Pat: please go fu"

Many others in the poker community urged readers to text "HAITI" to 90999 to donate $10 to @RedCross relief efforts including Maria Ho and Shannon Elizabeth.

Howard Lederer had this to say:

"I think the Haitians are due a refund from their pact with the Devil. Can Pat Robertson be a bigger moron?"

Another great place to donate to the Haitian earthquake relief efforts is the Clinton Foundation.
