What is The Spread on the Houston vs. Cincinnati AAC Championship Game December 4, 2021

Gambling911.com had an early line on the 2021 AAC Championship game between Houston and Cincinnati. We had this one at Bearcats -11.5.  Bearcats officially opened at -10.

After taking care of business in New England, Houston coach Dana Holgorsen decided to channel Bill Belichick, happy that his team can finally switch its focus to next weekend's American Athletic Conference championship game.

Nathaniel Dell caught two touchdowns and Jake Herslow and Jeremy Singleton each topped 100 receiving yards to go with a TD apiece for Houston (11-1, 8-0 AAC), which plays at No. 4 Cincinnati for the conference title next Saturday.

“We knew we were going to be in this game, but yet we had to take care of business and play Memphis and then we had to take care of business and play at UConn," Holgorsen said. “That's tricky. Those are trap games and we didn't fall for it.”

Freshman Alton McCaskill had a 31-yard touchdown run, his 16th of the year for the Cougars, but left the game in the second quarter holding his right shoulder. He finished with 54 yards on the ground.

Undefeated Cincinnati easily made it past Eastern Carolina Friday night.

"We knew there were more things at stake," coach Luke Fickell said. "It's great when you have a mature group that you don't have to go over every little thing. You trust that they're enjoying it, but they have to understand that to whom much is given, much is expected."

Desmond Ridder threw two touchdown passes and Cincinnati (12-0, 8-0 American Athletic Conference, CFP No. 4) completed a perfect regular season. The Bearcats are trying to become the first team outside of a Power Five conference to compete in the four-team CFP.

"We got another one and we have to finish strong," Ridder said.
