It’s a key AFC West clash in Sin City for Sunday Night Football as the Kansas City Chiefs visit the Las Vegas Raiders.
The Chiefs opened as a 3-point road favorite in tonight’s game with an over/under of 53.5, but as of today that number has dropped to 2.5 points, with a total of 52 at Wager6.ag, where you can receive a 200% Cash Bonus.
One of the major stories from the first half of the NFL season has been the decline of QB Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs. The 2019 Super Bowl winners and five-time defending AFC West champs are in danger of not even making the playoffs. In fact, after a high-scoring start to the season, the KC offense has been limited to 12 points per game the last three weeks. As for the Raiders, this has been a team in turmoil for the last month after head coach Jon Gruden was forced to resign and WR Henry Ruggs was released following a DUI crash that led to Las Vegas woman’s death. You can almost forgive Las Vegas for laying an egg last week at the NY Giants, but even still, the Raiders outgained and outplayed the Giants for most of that game, despite the 23-16 loss.
Bottom line here: At this point in the season, these two teams are just about even in our estimation, so we’re happy to scoop the points with the Raiders at home. The Raiders are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games as an underdog, including two outright wins this season as home dogs against the Ravens and Eagles, while Kansas City has failed to cover eight of its last 10 as a favorite.
