Following word that Americas Cardroom CEO Phil Nagy planned to stake six lucky players into the $5,000,000 GTD Venom PKO in an effort to raise money for breast cancer awareness, it seems the scammers were quick to come out of the woodwork....well, one anyway.
The profit was to be split half for the player and half of the charity.
A poster going by the name Christopher Moore was caught providing a fake doctor’s letter claiming he had a positive cancer diagnosis, all in an apparent effort to obtain a free ticket to play on this week's $5 Million Venom with what normally would have required a $2650 buy-in.
The original tweets calling him out have now been deleted but Chris Moneymaker reposted the letter.

One of Moneymaker's followers pointed out the obvious flaws in the letter.
"Yea IF this were real... it would be a phone call but preferably face to face... not to mention it says "this stage".... which fuckin stage?? Also a confirmed diagnosis like this requires more than just bloodwork... theres imaging and biopsies involved."
Moneymaker offered this anecdote.
"I put in more work faking school absences than this idiot did."
Mr. Moore was reported to have sent death threats out to Nagy and ACR pros upon calling him out.
