Belmont, Churchill Down Betting: 2021 Locust Grove Stakes, Jockey Club Oaks and Derby

Belmont features three fascinating affairs with the Jockey Club Oaks and Derby both attracting a Godolphin runner from the UK with Creative Flair lining up in the Oaks and Yibir in the Derby. Well ahead of the Breeders’ Cup in November, all eyes will be on how the UK duo fair as a guide to the level of 3-year-old form in both countries. Jockey Jamie Spencer rides both of the Charlie Appleby trained runners and is no stranger to the U.S. with big race success on the likes of Cape Blanco in previous years.

Churchill sees the return of Shedaresthedevil in the Locust Grove Stakes where she faces six rivals. Shedaresthedevil was last seen when winning the Clement L. Hirsch Stakes at Del Mar at the start of August. Improving Matera, who has won her last three, and Envoutante look to be her main rivals with the latter running a tremendous race behind BC Distaff favourite Letruska last time out.

There are also two very interesting races at Woodbine where eight line up in the Canadian International and 10 in the Woodbine Mile. International Superstar Jockey Frankie Dettori makes a rare visit to Canada to partner Walton Street for a very busy Charlie Appleby, and then takes the ride on the Chad Brown trained Raging Bull who is sure to go close in the Mile.

Fixed Odds available on all six races from 10 a.m. ET on Friday morning.
