What Should the Spread on the Titans vs. Seahawks Game be?

After Week 1, the Titans rating was 15.03, Seahawks 25.25  Adjusting for home field advantage we get a line of Seahawks -13.  The line opened at Seattle -6.

The surprise here is that Tennessee is rated among the lowest teams in the league.  Only the Jaguars, Falcons, Lions, Jets and Giants have a lower rating.

Kylar Murray had 5 TDs, Chandler Jones 5 sacks as Cards routed the Titans 38-13.

Tennessee Titans starting safety Amani Hooker, who hurt his foot in the team's season-opening loss to the Cardinals, was placed on injured reserve Tuesday.

Seattle, meanwhile, beat Indianapolis 28-16.

What to Watch for in the Line Movement

The line on the Seahawks-Colts game only moved up a half point from -2.5 to -3.  The books must have felt this game would be a field goal win.  None went above -3.

Tennessee was a -3 favorite throughout the week leading up to their game against Arizona.  This was true of most books.  It's interesting that BetOnline and Heritage both closed on the -2.5 in the final minutes ahead of gametime, a clue that they believed Arizona would cover or win.

Pinnacle Sports was the first to move to -2.5 just after 10 am.

For the Titans-Seahawks game, the trending was -6 to -5.5.

To be clear, the Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy is pretty certain to land in Minnesota.  But what if the New England Patriots shock us and pick McCarthy at Number 3 before the Vikings get their opportunity at No. 5?
