What is the Worst Online Horse Racing Affiliate Program?

As big as they are and the type of presence during major horse races such as the Kentucky Derby, noted horse racing expert Michael Dempsey slammed TwinSpires for what he claims is "the absolute worst (affiliate program) I have ever dealt with".

Dempsey did not elaborate further but his horse racing news and handicapping website, TurfNSport.com, is among the oldest on the Net.  He has contributed to websites such as Vegas Insider, Oddsshark, Bleacher Report and, as he puts it, "anywhere else degenerate gamblers hang out".

Dempsey also focuses heavily on corruption within the horse racing world, making his critique of TwinSpires all the more concerning.

Affiliates generally receive a cut or percentage of a company's revenue based on those customers referred.

TwinSpires is owned by publicly traded Churchill Downs Incorporated.  In 2017, it acquired BetAmerica and has since made a move into the legal US sports wagering market.
