Wout van Aert won the men's elite race at the UCI Cyclo-cross World Championships in 2016, 2017 and 2018.

And he just added another medal, courtesy of the Tokyo Summer Olympics.

“I always race to win but I guess today there was one guy stronger," Van Aert said of his second place finish a little over a minute behind gold medalist Richard Carapaz of Ecuador Saturday. "It was hard to arrive still in the group and play my sprint but I managed to do it and I’m really happy with the silver medal. It’s something really special to take a medal in the Olympics, even though I aimed for gold, but I guess it was the best possible result today.”

Van Aert has some healthy competition in the form of Filippo Ganna pays the next shortest odds at $325 for every $100 bet.

Primoz Roglic pays $400.
